Implementing A Successful Recycling Service

When Tomato Palms® implements our convenient, easy and affordable recycling program at your place of business all you have to do is:

  1. Provide a quick and simple description of the materials you want to recycle.
  2. Provide a walk-through of your facility to determine the number of bins you need and where they will be placed. The bins are provided at no extra cost to you.
  3. Arrange a set up date.
Your work is done with these three simple steps!

Services

  • The Tomato Palms® staff will come to your place of business per the agreed schedule of daily, weekly, bi-monthly or monthly to pick up the materials directly from the bins.
  • We maintain the bins and handle all aspects of the recycling process.
  • We take the recyclable material to a proper Material Recovery Facility*.
  • We provide a monthly report on the total weight of the materials you have recycled.
  • Your numbers will be entered into DHEC's RE-TRAC system. We provide you with a quarterly RE-TRAC report showing what environmental savings impact your recycling efforts have made. See REPORTING for a sample of this report.

*A Material Recovery Facility (MRF) is a site where cities, counties and businesses drop off their recyclable materials. The materials are then sorted, bailed and sold to companies who will use it to make new products.

All programs are designed to be cost-effective. Our services are customized to meet the specific needs of the client, and our goal is to ensure all businesses now have the opportunity to recycle.

Tomato Palms® donates a portion of the proceeds from the sale of
aluminum and steel cans to our local community homeless shelters.
